Hi, I’m Jordyn!
I am an educator, consultant, and communication specialist with experience supporting students, families, and schools. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree from Central Michigan University and a Master of Arts in Student Affairs Administration from Michigan State University.
I began my career in Higher Education, where I spent four years in Student Conduct and Health Promotion, facilitating restorative practices, leading wellness education initiatives, and supporting student success. I later transitioned to K–12 education and have spent the last four years as an elementary school teacher, bringing a child-centered, strengths-based approach to my classroom.
Alongside my work in higher education and K–12 schools, I’ve spent the last six years as a consultant specializing in data analysis and reporting, motivational interviewing training and coaching, and grant management. Across all of my roles, my focus remains the same: empowering students and educators through clear communication, collaborative goal-setting, and systems that support meaningful growth.
When I’m not teaching or dreaming up new ways to help kids communicate and grow, you can usually find me moving in one way or another. I’m a longtime dancer and coach, a runner training for my next race, and someone who never turns down a good hiking trail or a chance to explore a new city.
I love blending creativity, movement, and adventure into everything I do- whether that’s choreographing with my dance team, planning my next travel getaway, or designing resources that bring calm, confidence, and connection to classrooms.
